The Waterways and Environment comprises of very small full time team working in an extremely diverse role over the whole of England. We are lucky, in that, we are supported by around 200 volunteers known as Waterway Advisors, throughout England. They carry out a range of roles which help us deliver our work at a Regional and Local level. Their work includes developing local relationships with other organisations to increase places to paddle, advising paddlers of where to paddle and developing specific projects such as canoe trails on their local water.
We provide the opportunity for volunteers to attend Regional meetings to discuss issues and share ideas with Waterways and Environment Team.
