This Girl Can

You may have spotted the nationwide campaign launched by Sport Englandin January, which aims to get more women and girls out enjoying sportand physical activity. The campaign is based on research undertaken bySport England which revealed that the overwhelming factor holding womenand girls back from exercising was fear of judgment. This includedaspects relating to appearance, ability or how they chose to spend timeon themselves.
British Canoeing is keen to support the campaign and is fullycommitted to increasing the number of females participating inPaddlesport. We’re also keen to encourage those already taking part inthe sport to get more involved by providing more opportunities andinformation.
