The term Paracanoe is used to refer to the international competition structure for people with physical disabilities within the Canoe Sprint discipline. For all other paddlesport activity for disabled people Canoe England use the term Paddle-Ability. This includes national and local sprint competition, recreational padding and all other disciplines. Paddle-Ability focuses on the individuals’ ability in canoeing rather than disability.
