There are many people experiencing Paddlesport activity as part of inclusive and/or specialist activity for disabled people at both Clubs and Centres all over England. Generally Canoe England encourages people to join a club local to them focusing on the type of Paddlesport activity they wish to participate in as opposed to travelling further to specialist clubs for disabled paddlers. However, Canoe England also recognises that, in some cases, it may be better for an individual to travel to a specialist Club or Centre that has the facilities available to suit their specific needs.
Canoe England have recently launched Paddle-Ability Top Club, this is a bolt on to the current Top Club accreditation for clubs demonstrating a high level of provision for its disabled membership. For more information about Paddle-Ability Top Club click here.
