2015 ICF World Canoe Slalom Championships

Witness 300 of the World’sBest Canoe Slalom Athletes in Action


 

The ICF World Canoe Slalom Championships2015 is the largest international canoeing event outside of the Olympics. Theevent at Lee Valley will welcome the world’s best Canoe Slalom athletes from across55 countries competing 5 different disciplines with the hope of not onlygaining the title of World Champion in their event, but also a spot on Team GBfor Rio 2016.

 

Cheer Live as you Watchwho Qualifies for Rio 2016


 

Sticking with Rio 2016, this is theonly place you will get to watch the athletes qualify in real time, cheeringthem along the way. If you have been following athletes on their ‘Road to Rio’you could witness history being made as Team GB assembles around you.

 

Try Paddling forYourself

 

If watching the world class athletesinspires you to want to try paddling as you have never done it yourself before,or even want to encourage the children to have a go, you can do that at theWorld Championships. Go Canoeing will be there help you learn the ropes andencourage you to have a go all for free.

If you’re not in the mood to hit thewater, don’t worry, there are many more free activities for the whole family toenjoy. Practise tricks on the Bungee Trampolines, explore the Pirate Ship FunHouse or see who can reach the top first on the climbing wall.
