Coach Educator Licence

As of 1st January 2013 a Coach Educator Licence is applicable to all Tutors and Directors of BCU UKCC Level 1 and 2 coaching awards. This scheme has been implemented to support the ongoing Internal Verification and Quality Assurance service provided in-line with OFQUAL requirements; including Annual Moderation Events, Verification of post-course documentation and IV/QA Visits.

The Process
A Coach Educator Licence can be obtained by current Coach Educators who meet the BCU Coach Update Requirements by signing up to the Coach Educator Licence Agreement and paying the relevant annual Licence Fee (£150 Directors; £75 Tutors).

Course Authorisation requests will only be granted to Licensed Directors using Licensed Tutors. Course Authorisation requests must be received at least 4 weeks prior to the proposed start date of the course.

A Course Administration Fee of £50 is payable for each BCU UKCC Level 1 and Level 2 Training course that is run and will need to be submitted along with the course paperwork immediately after the course. The Course Administration Fee does not apply to BCU UKCC Level 2 Assessments.
